Organiser
The masterclasses are organised by Percettiva, a production, training and artistic research space based in Sardinia, Italy.
For any communication relating to the educational activities, participants may contact the organisation using the contact details provided on the official website.
Scope of the Activities
Percettiva organises masterclasses and educational activities dedicated to cinema, sound, audiovisual production, directing, post-production and other related creative and professional fields.
Each masterclass may include lectures, guided conversations, case-study analysis, exercises, technical demonstrations, meetings with professionals and collective discussion sessions.
The programme, tutors, dates, duration, language of instruction and participation methods are indicated on the page dedicated to each masterclass.
Registration
Participation in the masterclasses is subject to prior registration.
Registration may take place through an online form, email, payment platform or any other method indicated by Percettiva.
Submission of a registration request does not automatically guarantee the availability of a place. A place shall be considered confirmed only after written confirmation by Percettiva and, where applicable, after receipt of payment within the indicated terms.
Percettiva reserves the right to review registration requests and not to accept applications that are incomplete, inconsistent with the requirements of the programme or received after the available deadlines.
Confirmation of Place and Payment
When a participation fee is required, registration shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of payment according to the methods indicated by Percettiva.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment must be made within seven days from the confirmation notice or from the sending of payment instructions.
In the event of failure to pay within the indicated deadline, Percettiva may consider the registration unconfirmed and reassign the place to other participants.
Fees, any concessions, scholarships and payment methods are indicated on the page dedicated to the individual masterclass or in the official communications sent by Percettiva.

The participation fee includes only what is expressly indicated on the masterclass page or in the confirmation communication.
By way of example, the following may be included:
- participation in the educational sessions;
- access to the spaces provided for the masterclass;
- any educational materials made available by the tutors or the organisation;
- a certificate of attendance, where provided;
- any coffee breaks, lunches, dinners, transfers or other services, only where expressly indicated.
Anything that is not expressly indicated as included shall be considered excluded.

- travel to and from the masterclass venue;
- local transport;
- accommodation;
- meals;
- personal insurance;
- medical expenses;
- personal equipment;
- visa costs, travel documents or other individual requirements;
- any other cost not expressly indicated as included.
Each participant is responsible for organising and paying for their own travel, transport, accommodation and personal expenses, unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing by Percettiva.
Cancellation by the Participant
The participant may withdraw from the masterclass by notifying Percettiva in writing.
Refund conditions may vary depending on the specific masterclass and shall be indicated on the dedicated page or in the confirmation communication.
In the absence of specific alternative conditions, the following rules shall apply:
- cancellation communicated at least 30 days before the start of the masterclass: refund of the fee paid, net of any non-recoverable bank charges or transaction costs;

Any exceptions may be assessed by Percettiva on a case-by-case basis, but shall not constitute an obligation for the organisation.
Scholarships, Concessions and Free Places
Percettiva may provide scholarships, reductions, concessions or free places for certain masterclasses.
The award of a scholarship or concession is personal, non-transferable and valid exclusively for the indicated masterclass.
If a participant who has been awarded a scholarship confirms their participation and subsequently withdraws without adequate prior notice, Percettiva may request reimbursement of a portion of the costs incurred or reserve the right not to consider future applications from the same participant.
Where a symbolic fee, deposit or confirmation contribution is required, the relevant conditions shall be communicated at the time of the award.
No-Show
Failure to attend the masterclass without prior notice shall be considered a no-show.
In the event of a no-show, no refund of any sums paid shall be due.
In the case of free participation, a scholarship or a concession, Percettiva may request partial reimbursement of the organisational costs incurred, provided that this condition was communicated at the time of confirmation.
Cancellation, Postponement or Modification by Percettiva
Percettiva reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify a masterclass for organisational, technical, logistical or artistic reasons, force majeure, unavailability of tutors, failure to reach the minimum number of participants or other circumstances beyond its control.
In the event of definitive cancellation by Percettiva, participants shall be entitled to a refund of any participation fee paid.
In the event of postponement, Percettiva shall propose new dates or alternative solutions. If the participant is unable to attend the masterclass on the new proposed dates, they may request a refund of the fee paid, unless different specific conditions were communicated at the time of registration.
Percettiva shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the participant for travel, accommodation, transport or other personal services purchased independently, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Changes to the Programme and Tutors
Percettiva undertakes to respect the announced programme, but reserves the right to make changes to schedules, content, calendar, venue, methods of delivery or tutors, where necessary for organisational, artistic or technical reasons, or for reasons beyond its control.
Any changes shall be communicated to participants as far in advance as possible.
The replacement of a tutor, a change in the order of sessions or an adaptation of the programme shall not automatically constitute grounds for a refund, provided that the overall nature of the masterclass remains consistent with what was announced.
Participant Conduct
Participants are required to behave respectfully towards the tutors, other participants, staff, spaces, equipment and the hosting context.
Percettiva reserves the right to remove from the masterclass, without refund, anyone whose behaviour is offensive, discriminatory, violent, dangerous, harmful to the work of others or incompatible with the proper conduct of the activity.
Participants shall be responsible for any damage caused to persons, spaces, materials or equipment.

The content presented by the tutors remains the property of the respective authors or rights holders.
Any exercises, works or materials produced by participants during the masterclass remain the property of their respective authors, unless otherwise specifically agreed.

Short photographs or personal content may be produced only if they do not disturb the activity, do not violate the privacy of other participants and do not reproduce protected materials or confidential content.
Confidentiality
During the masterclasses, materials, case studies, professional information, projects in progress or content not yet publicly available may be shared.
Participants undertake not to disclose confidential information, non-public materials or sensitive content shared during the masterclass without the authorisation of the relevant rights holders.

Participants must use spaces and equipment with care and in accordance with the instructions received.
Any damage caused by improper use, negligence or non-compliant behaviour may be charged to the responsible participant.

Where provided, Percettiva may issue a certificate of attendance.
The certificate does not constitute a professional certification, qualifying title or legally recognised qualification, unless expressly stated otherwise.
The issuing of the certificate may be subject to actual participation in the masterclass or to a minimum attendance requirement.
